A Thomas & Sons offer a bulk earthmoving service to the construction, forestry, agriculture and leisure industries.

We have a large range of plant to carry out this service with includes Excavators, Dumptrucks, Tractors and Trailers and a D5 Dozer.

Whether it be a top soil strip using a D5 Dozer to clear the site and bund for use later in the project, excavating and pushing materials in a cut and fill operation using our 22t Excavator, dump trucks and dozer, compacting in layers using our towed vibratory roller, or excavating materials and removing from site, we have it covered.

We also have a range of attachments to make the operation as efficient as possible. These include Hydraulic Rock Beakers for our 22T Excavator, 14T Excavators and 2.7T Excavator.  We have ripper tooth buckets to suit our 22t and 14t Excavators. We also have a wide range of buckets that include tilting buckets for landscaping works.

We have carried out bulk earthmoving jobs in the agricultural industry which has involved us moving a large amount of river gravel to reclaim land on the river bank, creating sites for sheds and the re-profiling of agricultural land.

In the forestry industry we have moved large amounts of materials to create forest roads, stacking areas and quarries.

In the construction industry we have worked on large scale road jobs and been involved in muck shifting operations to facilitate new roads and industrial projects.

For the leisure industry we have undertaken bulk earthmoving for the creation of caravan parks including all associated foundation, roads and utilities works.
