A Thomas and Sons have worked for Tilhill over 20 years and are key approved contractor for Tilhill to complete any roads maintenance, site preparation & property maintenance operations. Steven has attended Tilhill insist on safety days for our contractors where diffuse pollution training was completed & environmental advice & guidance was received, in line with current best practices.

The wide variety of specialist machinery alongside their expertise is valued by Tilhill, with all works being completed in a safe manner, whilst meeting tight deadlines and within agreed budgets. Recent works Steven and his team have completed include the upgrade of 20km of forest road within one of our managed properties. This contract was worth more than £100,000 and was completed to a high quality, with the forest road being used for annual timber harvesting operations where over 10,000 tonnes of timber are hauled across a professionally constructed forest road.
